As the Director of 401(k) Education at Employee Fiduciary, Brian Furgala Esq., CPC, QPA leads all facets of internal and external education. He also spearheads the organization’s speaking engagements at various industry conferences throughout the year. Brian leverages his experience in various roles to create a practical and effective learning experience. He most recently worked for a large software company where he was responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s retirement, welfare, and non-qualified plan documents – documents that today govern the operation of hundreds of thousands of retirement, welfare, and non-qualified plans nationwide. He also has twenty years at a full-service corporate law firm, where he specialized in ERISA plans, corporate employee benefits, and executive compensation plans. Before becoming an attorney, Brian worked in all facets of a retirement plan administration department for a large financial institution. His past experience and designations make him uniquely qualified to create an exceptional educational experience. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a degree in accounting before attending Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor.
